    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The 39-year-old's debut game in charge of United did not go as planned. The team did get off to a dream start at Ipswich as Marcus Rashford handed them the lead in the second minute of the game from Amad Diallo's assist. However, former Chelsea youth player Omari Hutchinson scored a deflected equaliser to seal a point for Ipswich. While Amorim failed to register a win, he did bring new ideas and formation to the team which could eventually work in the club's favour in the long run.
