THE BIGGER PICTURE
Greenwood has been a key figure for a Getafe team looking to book a spot in European competition next season. He has scored three goals and assisted four in La Liga to help the Madrid club to ninth in the table. However, he was sent off in his first match of 2024 for allegedly insulting the referee, but that red card was subsequently rescinded.
The 22-year-old will hope to maintain his good form for Getafe when they face Sevilla in the Copa del Rey on January 16. Five days later they will take on Osasuna in La Liga.
