A huge achievement for Mary Earps! Lionesses No.1 wins milestone cap as England take on France in Euro 2025 qualifying

Earps has real competition for her place in between the sticks because of the form of Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who has started two of England's last four games. However, the Manchester United shot-stopper remains first-choice and got the nod again for the big clash with France.

Her inclusion in the team is significant, too, because it marks Earps' 50th appearance for her country. She is one of just nine players in the Lionesses' squad to have celebrated that achievement.

The others to have hit that milestone are Lucy Bronze, Alex Greenwood, Millie Bright, Keira Walsh, Fran Kirby, Georgia Stanway, Lauren Hemp and Beth Mead.

After taking on France, the Lionesses will make the short journey across the channel to face the same opponent in Saint-Etienne on Tuesday evening.
