Marcus Rashford runs up hefty bill at Cannes beach bar as Man Utd star gets over Euro 2024 after England axe

The Manchester United star endured a difficult season and only managed to score eight goals in all competitions. Nevertheless, it remained a significant shock when Gareth Southgate left the 26-year-old out of his squad for Euro 2024, with England kicking off their campaign against Serbia on Sunday.

As a result, the forward has headed to France on holiday, and the Daily Mail reports that he was spotted partying in a Cannes beach bar with 12 friends. While at Baoli, an exclusive spot that has been frequented by the likes of Bono and Jay Z, the group are said to have run up a bill of £3,700 ($4,747).

Rashford and his friends are said to have enjoyed a meal before heading to the restaurant's built-in club. Onlookers told the Mail that he seemed in high spirits, seemingly not allowing his England snub to get him down.

Rashford will continue his vacation while England kick off their Euro 2024 campaign this weekend. On Sunday, the Three Lions face Serbia.
