  • WHAT HAPPENED?

After enjoying a purple patch in the 2022-23 season, where Rashford managed to score 30 times in 56 matches across all competitions, the 26-year-old saw a sudden dip in form since last term as he failed to hit double digits in terms of scoring across the 2023-24 campaign - leading to him eventually being omitted from the England squad that took part in Euro 2024.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

In the current season, the English attacker is yet to open his account despite starting all three matches Manchester United have played thus far. However, The Sun reports that he has been working extra hours after regular training sessions alongside assistant coach and club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy to get back to his best. The former Netherlands international, who scored 150 goals in five seasons at Old Trafford, has taken Rashford under his wing in a bid to improve his game.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

The Dutch coach is reportedly working on Rashford's back post awareness and trying to improve his runs across the box. Van Nistelrooy has been staying back after Erik ten Hag's regular training sessions to give personal attention to the Three Lions star.
