Hollywood co-owners at SToK Racecourse have enjoyed considerable success with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/watch-deadpool-accepts-welcome-to-wrexham-emmy-mr-lively-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-co-owners/blt88ef913da72c6c87" target="_blank">their Emmy Award-winning ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ series</a> that has opened up a window to the world. Several other clubs are now exploring the option of starring in their own productions.

WHAT HAPPENED?

According to <a href="https://theathletic.com/5436374/2024/04/23/man-utd-disney-documentaries/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=twitterfc&amp;source=twitteruk " target="_blank">The Athletic</a>, Premier League giants United form part of that group. Discussions are said to have been held with Disney about a show that would document the remarkable era of trophy-winning triumphs that the club enjoyed under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson – as the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/sir-alex-fergusons-career-every-trophy-record--major-signings-at-manchester-united/o1bj3ymt3hpn1hit9vsegzjvm" target="_blank">legendary Scot delivered 38 pieces of silverware to Old Trafford</a>.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The series would reportedly include a lengthy interview with Ferguson, while also containing analysis and insight from United icons such as Bryan Robson and Peter Schmeichel. No deal has been agreed as yet, with the Red Devils said to be holding out for improved terms – with a low seven-figure offer said to be on the table at present.
