Man Utd reject five offers for Harry Maguire with £190k-a-week defender eager to spend rest of his career at Old Trafford

The seasoned centre-back has not always had it easy at United, but has grown to become a beloved figure inside the Theatre of Dreams. After signing for £80 million from Leicester in 2019, the England international has been a key figure for the last six years, and reportedly wants to remain with the Red Devils and retire with the club.

According to the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old had offers from other Premier League sides and Italian clubs on the table, but has reiterated his commitment to United, and is keen to develop further under Amorim. The powerhouse defender is likely to sign a new contract in the coming months, which would give him security over his future in Manchester.

Maguire was stripped of the United captaincy by Erik ten Hag in 2023, and was to joining West Ham thereafter. But he has since turned his form around and will not be leaving, despite interest from Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Monaco and Marseille.

Maguire's aerial ability and leadership has been helping Amorim stay afloat amid a tough start to life in the Premier League. Undoubtedly, he will play a big role in the upcoming campaign and has even gone so far as to admit that the club have no excuses for failure in 2025-26.
