  • WHAT FODEN SAID

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Foden said: "I’ve got a couple [of family members who are United fans]. My dad’s a Manchester United fan, he’s a little bit quiet at the moment. I’m hoping to change him… but he’s sticking to his word to be fair."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Foden's United supporting family have had little to celebrate over City in recent years and Foden has been key to that success. Since making his debut, Foden has become the youngest player ever to win six Premier League trophies alongside a further 11 major honours. If he wins the FA Cup on Saturday he will have won 18 trophies in his career.
