<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/mauricio-pochettino-gone-chelsea-boss-departs-stamford-bridge-mutual-consent-leading-blues-sixth-placed-finish/blt6d34f985ff23b8d9" target="_blank">Pochettino left his role as Blues boss on Tuesday</a> after just one season in charge, despite delivering European qualification in a strong end to the Premier League campaign. Jackson took to Instagram to express his admiration for the Argentine and seemed to call the Chelsea owners' decision into question.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Jackson posted an image that showed Pochettino reaching out to embrace the Senegal international, but he added two facepalm emojis to it. In another post, he wrote: "Love you, coach. Wish we could stay together more. But may God continue to bless you and your family. WHAT JACKSON SAID

<p>Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal last summer and enjoyed a good season in personal terms after adapting to his new surroundings. The forward netted 17 times in all competitions for Pochettino's team, helping them secure a sixth-place finish in the Premier League.</p>

<p>Jackson will soon be playing under a new manager at Stamford Bridge.
