Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba link up with superstar actress Sofia Vergara for glitzy night out as Inter Miami trio enjoy taste of Hollywood glamour

The Colombian superstar, who is most famously known for her character of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the hit show, Modern Family, shared the photos from her Miami trip last week. She was in the city to promote her upcoming Netflix show, Griselda, based on the life of Colombian drug lord, Griselda Blanco. The photo also showcased Antonella Roccuzzo, Sofia Balbi and Romarey Ventura, the partners of Messi, Suarez and Alba, respectively.

It is likely that the meeting was down to pure luck as the trio can be seen dining across the room from Vergara and her group. The Inter Miami trio is currently participating in the pre-season training with the Herons and also started in their first friendly of the season alongside Sergio Busquets.

Vergara could soon return to Miami, however, for more serious matters as she and Netflix have been sued by Blanco's son, Michael Corleone Blanco for using the likeness of his mother without proper permission from him or any of Blanco's family members. The case has been filed in Florida's Miami-Dade County in an attempt to delay the January 25 launch of the show.

The former Barcelona trio will be hard at work behind the scenes as they will be a major part of the Herons' hopes for silverware this coming season. They will be in action next when they take on FC Dallas at the Cotton Bowl on Monday, January 22.
