According to the report, Juventus head coach Thiago Motta feels he could get the best out of Zirkzee having worked with him at Bologna. However, it is unlikely that Man Utd would take a financial hit on the youngster having only acquired him in the summer. Erik ten Hag sanctioned a £36.5million ($46m) move for the Dutch international before he was relieved of his duties earlier in the season.

With Man Utd declining a move for Rashford, it remains unknown whether they will push for Zirkzee in the January market. Having only joined in the summer, it seems unlikely the Red Devils would be willing to let their striker go. For Rashford, there are several options, most likely a loan move away from Old Trafford.
