Jorginho's fiancee confronts woman over meetings with Arsenal midfielder as ex-boyfriend blamed for causing trouble

Vanessa Sandora was approached by Jorginho's fiancee Catherine Harding at her home in London at 11.30pm. Sandora says that Harding had turned up to her house after she ignored a number of missed calls from an unknown number, now understood to be Harding. Harding, a singer, supposedly got Sandora's number and address from the latter's ex-boyfriend who had told her about meetings between the pair. Sandora explained that she and Jorginho had met three times a number of years ago but that she has no interest in the Italian and deleted him off social media in 2022.

Speaking to the Sun, Sandora said: "I was terrified about who was knocking on my door unannounced so late at night.

"I used my Ring doorbell to see it was a woman I did not know.

"She said via the intercom, ‘I’m Jorginho’s fiancée, can you let me in?’.

“I didn’t pick up but it turned out to be Catherine. When I didn’t answer her calls, she drove across London to knock on my door at 11.30pm. She had got my address and phone number from an ex of mine who had contacted her. I did let her in and we had a frank chat, woman-to-woman. I felt she deserved the facts, so I gave them to her.

"I’m not a floozy. I told her I’m not interested in her bloke. But since then she’s been messaging me and won’t let it lie. She needs to move on and leave me out of her life."

Harding and Jorginho starred in the Amazon Prime series 'Married To The Game' and, following a successful debut season, will return in the following season of the series that details the lives of Premier League players' wives and girlfriends. In season two, Gabriel and his wife will join his Arsenal teammate on the show. Aston Villa's Leon Bailey, Chelsea's Marc Cucurella and Al Ahli's Riyad Mahrez are also set to star alongside their partners.

Jorginho will continue in his bit-part role at Arsenal. He has made just eight appearances in the Premier League this season but, at 33, still plays a crucial leadership role in Mikel Arteta's squad. He may look to get some minutes on Friday against Ipswich as the Gunners look to build on Saturday's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace.
