Hilarious Elliot Lee goal GIF has Wrexham fans in hysterics - why are his shorts pulled up that high?!

The GIF used by Wrexham showed Lee with his shirt tucked into shorts that were pulled way up - quite possibly reference to an infamous Jimmy Bullard video clip from years back. One fan in the replies asked: "What in the Simon Cowell is going on with those shorts".

This was Lee's first goal of the season and therefore the first time that fans have seen his celebration GIF on Wrexham's social media account. But they will hope to see plenty more as the campaign continues.

Lee had a big few days in the build-up to the game, having been named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year for last season at the annual PFA awards ceremony alongside team-mate Paul Mullin.

Wrexham's charge for promotion towards the Championship under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's ownership has started well and will continue with upcoming League One clashes with Peterbrough and Shrewsbury in the next two weeks.
