Harry Kane's back in England! Bayern Munich hitman STARTS Aston Villa Champions League showdown despite injury fears

The striker sustained an injury in his team's 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend, sparking fears he could be out for the midweek clash at Villa Park. Although Kane trained in the days before the game, coach Vincent Kompany said he would be assessed further.

Kane has since been cleared to start Wednesday's clash at Villa Park and Kompany has named him in the starting XI. The inclusion of the England international is a big boost for the German giants given he has scored 10 goals in just seven games this season.

Kane, who netted four times as Bayern started the new Champions League season with a 9-2 win against Dinamo Zagreb, scored eight goals in 12 league matches against Villa during his time at Tottenham.

Kane and his Bayern team-mates will attempt to upset Unai Emery's Villa when the two teams go head to head in the European competition.
