Happy Halloween! Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush breaks out freaky blood-splattered mask as Liverpool transfer target celebrates DFB Pokal goal

The Egyptian international came off the bench during their DFB Pokal second-round match on Wednesday with the game at 1-1, before bagging the winner 20 minutes from time. As the 25-year-old wheeled away in celebration for 10-man Frankfurt, he put on a mask with fake blood on it as they advanced to round three of the competition.

Marmoush has been linked with a move to Liverpool after scoring 10 goals in 12 matches for the Bundesliga outfit this season. His contract runs until 2027 and if his form continues, the German team will be in a strong position when it comes to potential transfer negotiations.

Marmoush holds Canadian citizenship through his Egyptian-Canadian parents who lived in Canada for six years. They later resettled in Cairo, where Marmoush was raised, before the forward began playing football with Wadi Degla's youth academy.

Marmoush's Frankfurt side, who sit sixth in the Bundesliga, return to league action on Saturday when they host bottom of the table VFL Bochum.
