  • Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur- Emirates FA Cup Fourth RoundGetty Images Sport

    Aston Villa vs Cardiff City

    Injuries & suspensions

Aston Villa: Pau Torres (ankle/foot), Boubacar Kamara (thigh), Amadou Onana (thigh), Ross Barkley (knee), Emi Martinez (other)

Cardiff: Jak Alnwick (hamstring), Jesper Daland (calf), Ollie Tanner (foot), David Turnbull (muscle)

    Form

    Aston Villa: L W D D W

    Cardiff: W D D L D

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Aston Villa 3-0 Cardiff City

Villa won't slip up here. Given the teams that have been knocked out already, the club's fans will undoubtedly see this season's FA Cup as an unbelievable opportunity to win a first trophy since 1996. Unai Emery has plenty of attacking options if he wants to freshen things up and whatever XI they put out will still be too strong for their Championship opponents.

Bournemouth: Enes Unal (knee), Adam Smith (other), Julian Araujo (thigh), Marcos Senesi (thigh), Illia Zabarnyi (suspended), Ryan Christie (groin)

Wolves: Leon Chiwone (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Enso Gonzalez (knee), Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Rodrigo Gomes (groin), Goncalo Guedes (knee), Hee-Chan Hwang (thigh), Emmanuel Agbadou (thigh)

    Bournemouth: L L W W L

    Wolves: L W L W W

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Bournemouth 2-1 Wolves

Wolves have looked a different animal since bringing in Vitor Pereira but that new manager bounce took a bit of a hit after the home loss to Fulham last time out. Much like Villa, Andoni Iraola's side will feel confident that, on their day, they can beat anyone left in the FA Cup, and they'll be out to right a few wrongs after losing to Saturday's opponents in the Premier League last weekend.

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Man City 3-0 Plymouth

This is where the journey ends for Plymouth. They performed miracles in the last round to knock out the Premier League champions-elect but with City looking to add some cheer to what has been a miserable season for Pep Guardiola's side, winning the FA Cup, as well as qualifying for the Champions League, will be at the top of the priority list and you wouldn't put it past them pulling it off.

    Newcastle: L W L W W

    Brighton: W W W W L

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Newcastle 2-2 Brighton

We have the feeling this one's going all the way to penalties. Brighton's recent improvement, that's undoubtedly saved Fabian Hurzeler's job, makes them a tricky proposition for Eddie Howe's men, even at St. James' Park. It seems as though Alexander Isak will be able to shake off the groin issue that kept him out of the defeat to Liverpool, which could well be decisive in determining who goes through. Expect an entertaining game full of goals.

    Form

    Man Utd: W D L W L

    Fulham: W L W W W

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Man Utd 2-1 Fulham

United may be toiling in the Premier League but they have at least kept themselves in contention for silverware this season, with their progress in the FA Cup and Europa League. To that end, March is going to prove a defining month and as much as Fulham will more than fancy their chances of piling on the misery at Old Trafford, the hosts will have just about enough to get over the line.

    Ipswich: L L D W L

    Our GOAL6 prediction

    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ipswich

It's crunch time for Forest as they look to go the distance and keep their remarkable 2024-25 campaign on track, both in the Premier League and FA Cup. Nuno Espirito Santo's side have hit a bump in the road recently, failing to win any of their last four - albeit they advanced via a penalty shootout at League One Exeter in round four of the FA Cup - but it would be a surprise to see Ipswich go to the City Ground and turn them over.
