The former Manchester City man told TNT Sports about Arsenal's fans: "It is all about trust, I arrived at the club with patience and desire to improve, I think I am doing good. Unfortunately I have been injured, but I don't want [that]. I got kicked in training so I had some problems again, but I am working hard and doing everything to be on the on the pitch."

Questions have been asked about whether Arsenal need another striker as Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have scored just eight goals in 36 Premier League games combined. While that may still be the case, the Brazilian international's goalscoring contribution breathed new life into the Gunners' title charge.

Arsenal, who could fall five points behind Liverpool if they beat Chelsea on Wednesday and Manchester City could leapfrog them into second if they come out on top against Burnley, host Jurgen Klopp's men in a crunch clash at the Emirates on February 4.
