Per The Sun, the English winger, who moved to Saudi Arabia and signed for Al-Ettifaq last season, has reportedly informed manager Steven Gerrard that he wants to return to the Premier League in the January transfer window amid interest from Fulham. The report further claims that the Liverpool legend will sanction his move if the Cottagers are ready to pay £5million (€6m/$6m).

The club are also planning to offload midfielder Andreas Pereira - who has an offer from Palmeiras - to facilitate the Gray transfer.
