Andre Onana was all smiles as he trained with Cameroon despite his outburst after missing out on their opening Africa Cup of Nations match.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Onana was left out of the Cameroon starting XI for their 1-1 draw with Guinea after he joined up with the squad late because he opted to play in Manchester United's Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday. Coach Rigobert Song's decision to drop Onana sparked outrage from the goalkeeper as he reportedly screamed at the coaching staff.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
However, Onana was back in training with the national team on Wednesday and appeared to be in a good mood as he showed off a big smile in training.

The shot stopper was also seen whispering into the ear of Cameroon legend El Hadji Diouf, who is said to have played a role in calming tensions between Onana and the team's coaching staff amid the initial debacle.

Onana will hope to be back in Song's good graces so that he can start for Cameroon when they take on reigning AFCON champions Senegal, who beat Gambia 3-0 on Monday, in their second match on Friday.
