Despite missing Wednesday’s session, Depay made his way to the club’s training centre the following morning, where he met with Corinthians’ top brass. Following the talks, the club confirmed that the 30-year-old addressed his absence and reiterated his commitment to the team.

According to GE,Depay will be fined for his unexcused absence on Wednesday. The club has already settled part of the outstanding amount owed to Depay in a bid to restore good faith.
