  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Per The Sun, the reigning Premier League champions are set to place a final 'take it or leave it' offer in front of star goalkeeper Ederson to convince the player against joining Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Al-Nassr are reportedly offering the Brazilian a whopping £900,000-a-week deal along with a hefty sign-on fee. While the Cityzens, under no circumstance will be able to match the Saudi club's offer, they are set to offer a long-term deal with a 75 percent hike on his existing wages. If he puts pen to paper on a new City contract he is likely to earn £1m per month from the upcoming season.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

With the custodian's existing contract set to expire in two years, time is running out for the English club to earn a hefty transfer fee for Ederson. If he does not agree to sign the new contract, his club are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of £50m (€59m/$64m).
