Cristiano Ronaldo all smiles in Portugal training with ex-Man Utd team-mate Diogo Dalot & Raphael Leao as CR7 sends strong message to supporters

Fresh off of his goal scoring appearance in Al-Nassr's 3-1 win against Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League, the 40-year-old is back with his national team-mates, including the likes of Diogo Dalot, Rafael Leao and Bruno Fernandes.

Portugal are gearing up for their two-legged continental tie against Denmark, with Roberto Martinez's men aiming to continue their unbeaten run in the competition after finishing top of their League A group. Ahead of the match, Ronaldo issued a motivational message to his team on Instagram.

"Working to win", Ronaldo wrote on a post containing images of him in training alongside his co-stars in the build up to the game.

Portugal are in Copenhagen for the first leg of their quarter-final tie with Denmark on Thursday and the return leg will go ahead in Lisbon on Sunday, with Ronaldo set to play a starring role in both games for Roberto Martinez's side.
