Over the last decade, Chelsea have always had a very deep squad due to their highly successful Cobham academy and their interest in investing in youth players early in their careers. As such, they have made a habit of selling youngsters for a profit and as such have a number of their former stars scattered across the Premier League.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
TNT Sports have now revealed that former Cobham graduates playing for different Premier League sides scored 25 per cent of all the goals scored in the league over the weekend. Solanke scored a brace against Aston Villa for Tottenham, while Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ola Aina, Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Guehi scored one each to bring up a total of six goals for former Cobham graduates.

There are currently 17 different Cobham Academy graduates playing in the Premier League for teams outside of Chelsea.

WHAT NEXT FOR CHELSEA?
The Blues continue to have a bloated squad under Enzo Maresca and as such they will likely have a few more academy players departing the club over the winter.
