Chelsea close in on another youngster! Brazilian starlet Pedro Lima confirms imminent transfer from Sport Recife

Chelsea have been linked with Lima for the last few months as they look to fortify their youth ranks even further as they have done for quite some time. As per Ge Globo's Alessandro Matias, Lima himself confirmed that the deal is close to completion when asked by the journalist about the advancement of the move to the Premier League.

Speaking to Ge Globo, Lima said: "The move to Chelsea? It's almost done, Alessandro!"

The 21-year-old impressed last season with Sport Recife as he impressed in Serie B. He made 30 appearances for the side as their main right-back through the season after impressing Cesar Lucena through pre-season.

The Brazilian will hope to confirm the move as soon as possible as he will hope to join the club's pre-season and look to impress Enzo Marseca to maybe get a spot on the senior team.
