AFPWHAT JOHNSON SAID
Speaking to BBC Sport, Johnson said: "I think even before I came to Spurs, I always watched Sonny. Whenever Tottenham played I would always watch him. Even now I find it amazing how both-footed he is and watching it firsthand is amazing. I haven't told him anything too particular but I think he knows with the way I ask him questions and reach out to him sometimes. I think he understands that I definitely respect him highly as a player."
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR JOHNSON?
After helping his side to a big Carabao Cup win over Manchester City on Wednesday, Johnson and Spurs' attentions will turn to Aston Villa. They welcome the West Midlands side to north London on Sunday and will likely be boosted by the return of Son, who has been struggling with injuries.
