    The England international has not featured in a match for United since a substitute appearance against Luton Town in the Premier League on November 11, having been laid low with a muscle injury. In December he returned to the training pitch briefly but was far from attaining full fitness.

    On Tuesday, the club officially confirmed that Mount has rejoined training after diligently working with medical staff for the past few months. The midfielder's return comes as a huge boost for Erik ten Hag's side, who are now preparing to take on in-form Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
