  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Tottenham beat AZ 3-1 on home soil to prevail 3-2 on aggregate having lost the first leg last week. Wilson Odobert opened the scoring for the Lilywhites, bringing them level on aggregate, before James Madisson scored to give Postecoglou's side the lead. Peer Koopmeiners then scored to restore parity in the tie, only for Odobert to land the knockout blow late on.

    After the game, Postecoglou revealed that he missed his children's school concert, where the band was playing songs by The Beatles. He also revealed his affection toward the iconic British band.

    Speaking to TNT Sports, Postecoglou said: "Big game coming up on Sunday, so we've got to prepare for that. My kids had their school concert tonight, so I want to know some feedback from that as well. My kids sang some Beatles songs, I'm big on The Beatles. I hope that it went well!"
