Barcelona's crisis just won't end! Horror start for Hansi Flick as La Liga side can't register NINE first-team players for next season unless they find €130m by end of June

Per The Athletic, Barcelona must raise around €130 million (£110m/$140m) by the end of June or they face a significant headache when it comes to registering further new additions. As a result, the club are seeking new investment and have also aimed to restructure their deal with Nike.

As it stands, Barcelona are unable to register Inigo Martinez or Vitor Roque, due to the way they were registered last season, while senior contracts for Alejandro Balde, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi and Hector Fort have not been registered with La Liga. Sergi Roberto and Marcos Alonso will soon be out of contract while there remains a question mark over the contract agreement with Gavi.

Barcelona's financial woes are exacerbated by the fact that loan players are returning with hefty salaries. Ansu Fati, Eric Garcia, Clement Lenglet and Sergino Dest are all heading back to Camp Nou, and their wages are all being taken into account by the league. It remains to be seen if any of the four are sold; none of the quartet appear to be in the plans of incoming manager Hansi Flick.

If Barcelona cannot find a way to raise funds, they will face a significant hurdle when it comes to new additions. The report claims that first-team sales cannot be ruled out; Ronald Araujo, Frenkie De Jong and Raphinha could all be deemed expendable.

The clock is ticking for Barcelona. Deals must be done quickly if they are to find a way to get players through the doors at Camp Nou.
