Guardiola and City officials have consistently defended the club, expressing confidence that they will be cleared of any wrongdoing.

Arteta, who previously worked as Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, has carefully navigated questions about the charges. When asked about the situation, Arteta maintained a diplomatic stance, saying: "That’s something for the authorities to manage, it’s not for us. If they are playing, it means they can play and they are entitled to play, and that’s it".
