  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The pair were seen in a heated confrontation after the final whistle as United came from behind to beat Viktoria Plzen 2-1 in the Europa League thanks to a double from Hojlund. Now, Amad has taken to Instagram to show that all is well between the two, sharing an image on Instagram of the pair about to shake hands and adding a heart emoji.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

United coach Ruben Amorim was happy to see two of his players clash in the way Amad and Hojlund did as he says it shows they "feel something". United had fallen behind early in the second half but fought back with Amad seeing an effort deflected into Hojlund's path for a simple finish before Bruno Fernandes teed him up for United's first win in three matches, lifting them up to seventh in the Europa League.

    DID YOU KNOW?

Hojlund's double brought his goal tally up to seven in all competitions this season. Five of those have come in the Europa League, with the 21-year-old netting his second Premier League goal in last week's 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest. Amad, meanwhile, has scored three goals and six assists to his name this season.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR AMAD AND HOJLUND?

The duo will likely be in the starting XI as United take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. United have lost their last two league games, but will hope to inflict further misery on City, who have lost seven and drawn two of their last 10 in all competitions.
