'Always let her down' - Annie Kilner 'torn' over Kyle Walker divorce proceedings after seeing Manchester City defender father two children with Lauryn Goodman

England international Walker is said to be "desperate" to rebuild his relationship with long-time partner Kilner - with the pair having celebrated Christmas together alongside their four sons. He did, however, father two children with former mistress Lauryn Goodman.

The ex-Love Island contestant remains part of his life, with bold statements often being made in public, and Kilner reportedly filed separation papers in October 2024. That process has not been finalised, with Walker still hoping to earn a reprieve.

Kilner - who was recently spotted wearing her wedding ring again - has a lot to mull over, with an insider telling Closer: "Even though Annie was trying to hide it at times, wearing her wedding ring out was a big statement. Normally, she worries about everyone judging her, but she was with some of her closest friends and just wanted to have a good time. She has been through so much this year, and just wants to enjoy time with her friends and family. Her boys being happy is her main concern and at the moment they are, as Kyle is still living with them. Things are actually better, but she’s still torn over what to do."

The source went on to say, with Walker still working on restoring lost trust: "There are times when Annie thinks they can make it work, but other times she thinks she would be better by herself and should move on. Kyle is desperate to give it another go and finally be happy once more, but she isn’t sure whether she has it in her heart to forgive him again. She’s done it so many times and he’s always let her down."

The Walker family may be given an opportunity to start afresh away from the glare of a media spotlight in Great Britain, with the 34-year-old full-back seeing a move to the Saudi Pro League speculated on after struggling for form at Premier League champions City this season.
