Alexander Isak's superb strike from distance handed Newcastle United a first-half lead against Liverpool at St James' Park.
The Sweden international received a perfect through ball from Bruno Guimaraes near the Liverpool penalty box and twisted Virgil van Dijk inside out with a magical first touch, before unleashing a powerful shot which flew into the top right corner. Liverpool 'keeper Caoimhin Kelleher had no chance of stopping it.

The visitors, however, responded strongly in the second half as Curtis Jones scored the equaliser in the 50th minute from Mohamed Salah's assist. Anthony Gordon then restored the hosts' lead before Salah got on the scoresheet himself to level up the scores.
