Ronaldo is preparing for the resumption of the Saudi Pro League season, which returns in mid-February, and is clearly in great shape. Before then, Al-Nassr take on Miami in a friendly match on Thursday, before taking on Saudi rivals Al-Hilal a week later. Now, the 38-year-old has posted a photo of himself on social media with a message to his followers.

Ronaldo and Messi are arguably two of the best players to ever play football and their rivalry is the stuff of legend. They faced off many times on the pitch and won a host of individual awards while vying to be the sports' top dog. Now, they may lock horns in this friendly match one last time, provided Ronaldo can shake off an injury that led to Al-Nassr's pre-season tour to China being canned.

After these friendly fixtures for both teams, the Saudi season for Al-Nassr resumes on February 14 in the AFC Champions League away to Al Feiha, whereas Miami kickstart their MLS campaign on February 22 at home to Real Salt Lake.
