Al-Ittihad do it again! Karim Benzema & Co crowned Saudi Pro League champions after leaving Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr in their wake

Al-Ittihad have been crowned Saudi Pro League champions for the 10th time in their history after their 3-1 comeback victory over already relegated Al-Raed at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Thursday. After an early opener from the hosts, Al-Ittihad battled back with goals from Steven Bergwijn, Danilo Pereira and Abdulrahman Alobud.

Al-Ittihad have won the title for the second time in three years, with defending champions Al-Hilal having faltered through the middle part of the season. Meanwhile, Ronaldo's Al-Nassr have been way off the mark in terms of their level of performance over the season. Benzema is now set to end the season as Al-Ittihad's top scorer.

Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr had been tied for the second-most Saudi Pro League titles, with the two sides having had nine titles each, while Al-Hilal are first with 19 league titles to their name. After winning the 2024-25 title, Al-Ittihad are now clear second with 10 titles.

With the Saudi Pro League title now wrapped up, Al-Ittihad can fully shift their focus towards their Saudi King's Cup final against Al Qadsiyah on May 30 at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
