Thanksgiving and NFL football are as American as apple pie. Football and Thanksgiving have been intertwined for nearly a century, with the Detroit Lions' tradition of playing on this special Thursday beginning in 1934, followed by the Dallas Cowboys, who started their Thanksgiving games in 1966, according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This year, we're treated to another Turkey Day tripleheader, kicking off at 12:30 pm ET on Thursday, November 28, and continuing into the night, with the final game set to start at 8:20 pm ET.

  • How to watch and stream 2024 NFL Thanksgiving triple-header

As usual, the Thanksgiving Day games will be broadcast on various networks—FOX, CBS, and NBC. You can stream the games through services like Sling TV, Hulu+, YouTube TV or Fubo, which offer FOX, NBC, and CBS. Additionally, FOX games can be streamed on FoxSports.com or the FOX Sports app.

NBC games are available for streaming on Peacock, while CBS games can be streamed on Paramount+.

Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears: 12:30 PM ET

The Lions once again face a division rival on Thanksgiving, as they will host Caleb Williams and the re-energised Bears.

This game will be broadcast on CBS. If you don't already have CBS in your channel lineup, we'd strongly recommend Paramount+.

    Why Paramount+?

Paramount + is CBS's official streaming platform, so features many of the live sports events that the network has rights to in the US, including the Bears vs Lions Thanksgiving fixture.

With the Paramount + with Showtime subscription, which begins at $12.99 per month, offers even more as you also get access to your local CBS channel directly through the platform. You'll be able to stream NFL games on CBS, NCAA college football, PGA Tour golf, professional soccer, and more. Both pricing tiers come with a seven-day free trial.

In a limited time special offer, the streamer is slashing the price on its annual plan by 50%, bringing the price down to just $29.99 a year. Normally $59.99, the new Paramount+ deal gets you access to its full library of content for just $2.50 a month. There is no promo code needed to redeem this offer. Don't miss out!

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants: 4:30 PM ET

The Cowboys vs Giants game will be streamed live on Fox network, so you'll need a TV subscription with Fox in the channel lineup. We recommend a Sling TV subscription for this, in particular Sling Orange + Blue.

    Why Sling Orange + Blue?

One of the most budget-friendly options for watching football and major sports events is a Sling TV subscription. For enhanced coverage, consider upgrading to the Orange + Blue plan with Sports Extra to catch more NFL and college football games this season.

Typically priced at $60 per month, the Orange + Blue plan is currently available for just $35 during a promotion offering $25 off your first month. If you choose the Orange + Blue with Sports Extra plan, it costs $50 for the first month and $75 thereafter. The Sports Extra add-on includes 18 channels, such as NFL Redzone, ESPNU, SEC Network, Big 10 Network, and ACC Network.

Additionally, Sling TV is offering significant savings on a four-month subscription to the Orange + Blue plan with Sports Extra through their Sling TV Season Pass. This pass is priced at $219, down from the regular $300.

It offers both your local Fox and ABC affiliate networks as well as NBC so you can watch both the Green Bay vs Detroit fixture and Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers later in the day. It is one of the most flexible streaming services due to its rolling monthly subscriptions that can be cancelled at any time. So if you're just wanting coverage on the big day, sign up and cancel your subscription before the next payment is due.

Green Bay Packers vs Miami Dolphins: 8:20 PM ET

In addition to Sling Blue, fuboTV is another excellent streaming option for sports fans to consider. It provides access to NBC, Fox, and CBS, making it ideal for catching all three Thanksgiving Day NFL games in one place.

However, be aware that fuboTV is on the pricier side, with subscriptions starting at $74.99 per month. While it may seem costly, it can be a good value for those looking to avoid juggling multiple cheaper sports streaming services, as it covers all the major sports channels you might need.

  • How to watch and stream 2024 NFL Black Friday game

Kansas City Chiefs vs Las Vegas Raiders: 3:00 PM ET

One of the great novelties of the NFL last season was the implementation of the first game on Black Friday, which proved to be a remarkable success, since it took advantage of the day after Thanksgiving (with its three classic games) to continue giving excitement to the fans.

Unlike last year's Christmas matchup, this game on Black Friday adds an extra layer of intrigue, pitting AFC West foes Las Vegas Raiders against the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

To livestream the Black Friday game between the Chiefs and the Raiders, you'll need to have a Prime membership.

Prime Video has the exclusive rights to air Thursday Night Football games for the next decade. In 2024, the OTT service will show the Thursday Night Football slate in Weeks 2 through 17, except the Thanksgiving night game.

That week, they get an exclusive Black Friday game to make up for losing Thursday night. Prime Video will also exclusively air at least one Wild Card game this season.

Prime Video costs $8.99, or you can get it as part of your larger Amazon Prime subscription for $14.99 per month or $139 per year (there are no extra fees for NFL streaming). It also has a 30-day free trial.

In addition to NFL football, Prime members will get two-day shipping, member-exclusive Prime Day deals, and expedited shipping on Prime Deals.
