Leeds target Bielik to stay at Arsenal after injury

EXCLUSIVE
Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik will remain at the club this transfer window after picking up a shoulder injury, Goal can reveal.
The 19-year-old, who has been of interest to Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, has been ruled out for eight weeks - scuppering any opportunity of leaving the Gunners on loan as originally planned.

Polish youth international Bielik was expected to spend the season out on loan in a bid to gain further first team experience with his game time limited at Emirates Stadium.
Goal understands that manager Arsene Wenger was hesitant on letting the youngster leave even though his chances of featuring in the first team were likely to be restricted to League Cup opportunities.
Bielik, who also attracted interest from Norwich and Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the summer, represents a versatile option for Wenger as he is able to play in defensive midfield and centre back.
His injury means that he will now remain at the Gunners’ London Colney training ground where he will continue his rehabilitation.
