Arsenal’s squad cull will continue this week with highly-rated midfielder Jon Toral set to join Hull for a fee in the region of £3 million, Goal understands.

The 22-year-old former La Masia starlet has spent the past three seasons out on loan in the Championship, La Liga and Scottish Premiership.

Toral’s loan highlights included an impressive campaign at Brentford, where he scored six goals in over 30 appearances, while he also shone at Birmingham throughout last season.

Hull boss Leonid Slutsky sees the midfielder as the perfect addition in their push for promotion following their relegation from the Premier League.

Krystian Bielik is being lined up for a loan move, meanwhile, and his representatives have held talks with several Championship clubs including Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.

Bielik, who also attracted interest from Norwich and Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the summer, represents a versatile option for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger as he is able to play in defensive midfield and centre back.

However, with game time expected to be limited this season a loan move has been recommended for the 19-year-old in a bid to continue his development into the first team.
