'I'm very in love' - Nicki Nicole lifts lid on romance with Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal

The 25-year-old Argentine musician has been linked to Blaugrana sensation Yamal since he took in lavish 18th birthday celebrations in July. Nicole was among those to attend a wild party thrown by the Spain international, with it later revealed that the pair had grown close.

Yamal formed part of Nicole’s own birthday celebrations in late August, with windows being found in which to spend quality time together during hectic professional schedules. Nicole has been setting up camp in Catalunya.

She was in Barcelona for a Desigual event to present their new ‘Studio’ collection, with the South American telling reporters when asked about her new partner: “I’m very in love, very happy, very content.

Nicole went on to reveal that Yamal and fellow singer Rosalia have “taught me how to say t’estimo (I love you) in Catalan.” She added that “enjoyment, sincerity and affection” are what she is looking for in a romance.

Nicole also claimed to have been shown “so much love” by the people of Barcelona, having become romantically tied to one of the city’s favourite sons. Yamal’s every move is now being dissected in minute detail as he becomes a global superstar.

Yamal would appear to feel the same way about Nicole as she does about him, with Spain team-mate Nico Williams joking recently when seeing an international colleague staring at the lock screen image on his phone: “Why are you smiling, bro? Why are you smiling at your phone, bro? My boy is in love!”

Yamal, who lost his passport after helping Spain to a 6-0 World Cup qualifying win over Turkey, is heading back to Barcelona as the reigning La Liga champions prepare for a return to domestic action at home to Valencia on Sunday.
