Greenwood has told Getafe’s media channels after being named their Player of the Month for April: “I’m very happy, it’s been an amazing experience. • DID YOU KNOW?

He added on landing a personal prize before the end of the campaign, with 10 goals recorded this season: “I feel happy, it’s always good to get these achievements. Overall, I don’t think we’ve had the best success this month in the games, but hopefully we can work hard all this week and get a win on the final day for the fans.”

  • WHAT NEXT?

Getafe are set to play host to Mallorca on Sunday in what could be a farewell appearance for Greenwood. He remains tied to a contract in Manchester – which has the option of an extension through to 2026 – but the expectation is that he will be on the move again over the coming weeks.
