  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Salah started a trend in the 2024-25 campaign of clicking a selfie with a Liverpool team-mate who scored in a particular game for the Reds, and then posting the photograph on Instagram. On Sunday, during the club's thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham, which sealed the Merseyside club's 20th English top-flight title, the Egyptian scored his team's fourth goal of the evening. The attacker immediately rushed towards the Kop and clicked a selfie with the fans to make the moment memorable.

Salah is on his way to winning the Premier League Golden Boot award for the fourth time in his career as he now has 28 league goals in 34 appearances, six more than closest contender Alexander Isak.
