‘Don’t disappoint me’ – Jet-setting Alisha Lehmann arrives in LA ahead of Copa America opener for Douglas Luiz & Brazil after enjoying final day of ‘holiday season’ in Florida sunshine

Alisha Lehmann has arrived in California ahead of Douglas Luiz’s Copa America opener for Brazil, with the Swiss asking LA not to “disappoint” her.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Aston Villa forward is in the United States preparing to watch her boyfriend in action at a major international tournament. She initially headed to Florida, and soaked up the sunshine there, as Luiz figured in a friendly date for his country against the USMNT.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
After enjoying the final day of her “holiday season” in Orlando, Lehmann has now headed from the east coast to the west. A long flight across the U.S. has left her feeling a little tired, as she touched down in Los Angeles at just after 10:30pm.

WHAT LEHMANN SAID
Lehmann has never visited the City of Angels before and said of arriving in the home of Hollywood: “It’s a little colder than Orlando but I think I like it because it was so hot. I can’t complain about anything. I’m here now! LA, first time in my life, don’t disappoint me, please.”

Lehmann has a week to enjoy the surroundings, and weather, in LA before Luiz takes to the field again in Brazil’s first game of the 2024 Copa America. That contest will see the Selecao face Costa Rica at SoFi Stadium – the home of the Los Angeles-based Rams and Chargers NFL franchises.
