Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi top football's 2024 Instagram rich list with staggering earnings per post - but which surprise England star sits fourth ahead of Harry Kane, Erling Haaland & Co?

The Al-Nassr star, who has a staggering 617.2m followers on Instagram, has topped the list as he earns approximately £1,537,855 ($1,960,000) per post. Ronaldo is followed by his arch-rival Messi, who earns £1,239,794 ($1,580,000) from every post on the social media platform - as per Football's Finest.

Kylian Mbappe comes third with earnings close to £277,532 ($353,423) per post, while Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka has surprisingly been ranked fourth in the list. The English winger has 5.8 million followers on Instagram and earns £233,756 ($297,600) per post.

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah completes the top five in the rich list while Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland has been placed eighth. Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Kevin De Bruyne also earned spots in the top ten.

Even in the twilight of their careers, Messi and Ronaldo continue to dominate on and off the pitch. Messi will be next seen in action for Inter Miami against his boyhood club Newell's Old Boys on February 16 in a pre-season friendly game, while the 39-year-old Ronaldo will be in action for Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal on Thursday.
