THE BIGGER PICTURE
Guler announced himself on the international stage with a stunning goal for Turkey in their Euro 2024 opening win over Georgia earlier this month. The 19-year-old had a strong end to the season for Madrid and he also played a key role in helping them progress to the knockout stages in Germany.
The findings state that Poland's Robert Lewandowski actually ended up losing more than 20,000 followers in this period as his country exited the competition, while Netherlands duo Steven Bergwijn and Frenkie de Jong saw respective drops of 13,000 and 11,000.
