  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Lehmann swapped WSL side Aston Villa for Juventus Women during the summer and has already tasted success with her new club. The Turin giants beat Brazilian side Palmeiras 1-0 in the Women's Cup final in the United States, thanks to a goal from Cristiana Girelli, to wrap up their pre-season tour in style.

    Juventus will be hoping for more trophies in the coming season as they begin life under new manager MassimilianoCanzi. Lehmann is one of several new signings by Juventus, joining Emma Kullberg and Hanna Bennison in making the switch to the Serie A side. The club have enjoyed themselves in pre-season, beating Swiss side Servette FC 6-1 and then going on to seal wins over Colo Colo and Palmeiras in the Women's Cup.

    Juventus are now due to head back to Europe for a final friendly against Bayern Munich before kicking off their new Serie A season against Sassuolo on September 1, which could see Lehmann handed her competitive debut.
