What is a Regional Sports Network?

Regional Sports Networks, or RSNs for short, are location-based TV channels that offer up local sports coverage based on the area you are in (on a zip code basis) and provide specific broadcast rights. 

For example, within the viewership in Detroit, you'd get access to the Detroit specific sports channel and teams. In Florida, the viewership would get Florida specific team coverage, and so forth thanks to geofencing.

Each RSN varies in subscriber numbers and offers sports events for local teams of that area or territory, meaning wherever you live you can watch your favorite sports teams live each week.

What is FanDuel Sports Network?

Formerly known as Bally Sports, FanDuel Sports Network is a group of regional sports networks that broadcasts region specific baseball, basketball, hockey and other leagues such as college sports, to local areas. 

In October 2024, Bally Sports was rebranded to FanDuel, offering up the same coverage and access of all your favorites, such as MLB, NBA and NHL, just under a new name.

Can I watch my RSN whilst on the move?

Normally you'd assume the answer would be no, as RSNs are location-specific, meaning you can only watch, for example, FanDuel Sports Network Detroit in the Detroit area and anyone living on the other side of the country couldn't tune in.

But yes, you can in fact access the RSN that corresponds to your registered postcode, as long as you are logged into your fubo account. You're able to log into your TV streaming account on any of your devices, so can continue to stay updated with full access even when travelling. This means you can watch college sports and high school sports as long as you are logged in.
