Kansas City wideout Rashee Rice is set to meet with the NFL for his disciplinary hearing on Tuesday, September 30, in New York City.
The timing means he’s now on course to suit up for the Chiefs’ opening four games before the league hands down any potential punishment stemming from his involvement in a multi-vehicle accident in Dallas earlier this offseason.
With that hearing date locked in, Rice should be cleared to hit the field against the Chargers in Brazil, followed by showdowns with the Eagles, a road trip to face the Giants, and a home clash with the Ravens.
