Team news & squads
Tottenham team news
In addition to Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin, Kota Takai, Manor Solomon, Destiny Udogie and Bryan Gil, who remained at home due to injury, Spurs played without Dominic Solanke in their midweek match because of his ankle concern.
It is unclear if Solanke will return for Sunday's game or for the next friendly game against Bayern Munich next week.
On another note, it is understood that Spurs are close to signing Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern with an option to buy.
Newcastle United team news
Joe Willock sustained an ankle injury during Wednesday's defeat, ruling the Englishman out. So Bruno Guimaraes could return to midfield, while Joelinton is likely to be handed a start ahead of Lewis Miley.
Sven Botman will need a once-over after tweaking his groin against Arsenal, and Alexander Isak is recovering from a thigh injury.
