WATCH: Chicharito ends goal drought for Bayer Leverkusen

The Mexico striker had gone 783 minutes of Bundesliga action without a goal before scoring against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

Finally, the drought is over for Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

Hyndman nets in first Rangers start

The Bayer Leverkusen striker scored his first goal for his club since Oct. 1 with a first-half header against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

The goal from a corner kick gave Leverkusen a 2-0 lead at home against its local rival. It wouldn't be enough, however, as a stunning second-half comeback gave the away side a 3-2 win. 

After a prolific 2015-16 campaign the Mexico international started 2016-17 off strong, but cooled off considerably as fall has turned to winter. Overall, Hernandez now has eight goals in all competitions for Leverkusen, including six in the Bundesliga.
