Wales vs Trinidad and Tobago Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Wales will be looking to warm up for Euro 2020 qualification with a win when they take on Trinidad and Tobago in Wednesday's friendly clash.

Ryan Giggs' men could do with a confidence boost ahead of Sunday's opening qualifier against Slovakia, having lost four of their last five fixtures.

Latest odds

Currently 64 places above their guests in the world rankings, they are 2/9 (1.22) favourites with William Hill to come out on top at the Racecourse Ground.

The Soca Warriors' last victory over European opposition was back in 2006 against Iceland, and they are priced at 12/1 (13.00) to pull off a shock win here or 5/1 (6.00) to earn a creditable draw.

Team News

James Chester, Andy King and Joe Ledley are all unavailable for selection due to injury, with Tom Lawrence also a doubt as he struggles to return from an ankle problem.

Ataulla Guerra is missing from the visiting squad due to injury, while Joevin Jones has also withdrawn due to personal reasons.

Big Welsh win

This match also represents a homecoming of sorts for visiting manager Dennis Lawrence, who spent five successful years in the heart of the Wrexham defence.

However, this is a very different Trinidad team to the one he represented at the 2006 World Cup alongside the likes of Dwight Yorke and Stern John, with just one of the current squad playing their club football with a top flight European team.

Having lost 11 and won just three of their last 18 matches, it is hard to see them competing with a team that features talents such as Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.

Predictions

Indeed, odds of 4/5 (1.80) look like solid value on the Dragons coming out on top in an easy victory that features at least three goals.
