Pablo Zabaleta has officially left Manchester City for West Ham, but not before surprising some of his biggest fans at the Etihad Stadium.
As part of City's #nothingwithoutyou campaign, where various first-team players met unsuspecting fans across Manchester on Monday, Zabaleta took the opportunity to say a very personal goodbye.
The Argentine right-back had become a City favourite during his nine years at the club and was afforded an emotional send-off at the Etihad Stadium after the club's final home game of the season.
But City arranged for some of his very biggest fans to meet their hero in the flesh - not that they knew it!
Having been asked to deliver their tributes to the Argentina international in front of a camera, they had no idea he would come through the curtain behind them to thank them for their years of support.
And keep an eye out for the reaction of Callum Haworth, AKA "mini Zaba". Callum had met Zabaleta on several occasions while battling an illness in hospital, and his reaction to seeing his hero again is truly heart warming.
The 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract at West Ham following his departure from City on a free transfer.
